A wee biscornu

It's called a biscornu.

And here's a wonderful tutorial for them. I get the impression that they're just a fancy pincushion.

But I do have a *thing* for tiny things so I had to make an itty-bitty biscornu which became a fob for my scissors. This one was made using size 14 aida cloth. The backstitching is 23 stitches on each side.

I think I could get addicted to making these. It was really fun and much easier than you'd think.

You are so talented...and downright evil! I absolutely love it, don't have any aida cloth (add to thrift store list), and certainly don't need another project to add to the list of "things I will never get done"!

But I could use a little cushion for my yarn darners when I am making hats...and I do miss embroidery/cross-stitch...

Very cute biscornu. I haven't tried my hand at one yet, but they turn out so pretty!

Cute, but where oh where do you find the time? Do you have time hidden away in all your million baskets? Please tell me where to find it so I can steal some of yours.

Oh, and what is a fob? And why do your scissors need one? And can you make me one? Or you could just give me the birdy embroidery. It kees chirping to you...I wanna be at Becka's house. I wanna be at Beckas house. Hear it?
