Harry Potter Day

We don't expect to see much of Isabelle today. The UPS truck came by with the final book in the series about 9am this morning.

Last night we all went to see the latest movie, Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix. Or, as Mason calls it, Harry Potter and the Order of the Felix.

Other than that, not much has gone on here the past week. I've been sick and have tried to stay dosed up on as much benadryl as a human body can handle to take the edge off the scarlet fever rash that accompanied the strep throat. Antibiotics took care of the throat issue but, apparently, the rash has to run its course. Bleck.

I wasn't getting much sympathy at home until I pointed out that scarlet fever is what led to Beth's demise (in Little Women). Even Isabelle was able to deduce that with antibiotics, it wasn't nearly so dangerous. Her sympathy waned a bit when she figured that out. ;-)

The Wild Things quilt and I have plans to watch some movies in a bit though. I can't stay away from crafting for too long!

Just for fun I'll share some of the hilarious pictures I found on my camera just now.

Oh gosh, Dannielle! I'm so, so sorry! I hope you'll be feeling better very soon. Are you taking your vitamins while you are on your diet?

The guinea pigs are cracking me up! I don't dare let my kids see them or I will never hear the end of it!

I'm sorry you've been sick and that the thing about Beth dying of scarlet fever didn't quite pan out to get you the sympathy and servitude you deserve. Sure hope our modern stuff gets you back on your feet in no time.
And the pictures are toooo cute! Did any jewelry get made, btw? (reference the creature in the midst of jewels and baubles)
Get well!

I am SO sorry you've been ill! I am hoping it's all gone away now. The best part about being sick is when you start feeling better, isn't it?
I received my #7 HP, but have yet to read #6 (I know, I'm a BAD Harry Potter fan!), so I will read them in order, and hopefully, won't hear anything about the ending on TV or radio.
I absolutely LOVE the photos!! How cute are all those babies? Sharp dressers, too! Thanks for sharing!
