Shop Talk as well as misc chatter

We have Valentine's Day on the brain over at Collage. We'd love for you to check out our newest offerings and see if you don't just fall in love! (New items are available for preview until they're released for sale at noon eastern today!)

Speaking of love, we just celebrated the 7th birthday of my son, Mason, last Thursday. He's such a sweet, little guy! Can you believe that his requested birthday presents were a super soft blanket, a gameboy game, and candy. Those things together are his idea of a good time.

Oh...also! Book love! I have been coveting this book for the longest time. I finally got my hands on it and I adore it! I'm totally jonesin' for some spare time so I can play!!

I also read this book recently and it, too, was wonderful. I just love Louisa May Alcott's stories. I don't know how this one managed to evade me until now!

And another little something I'm completely in love with is the quilt I received in the Four Seasons' Quilt Swap. Look how absolutely at home it looks on my wall! Thank you, so much, Courtney!! (you can click on the picture for a larger version)

I'll try to not be so scare this week! :-)

Louisa May Alcott's "An Old Fashioned Girl" is my all-time favorite! :-) I've read it countless times... :-)

So glad you discovered it! Another kindred spirit.

I don't think I've read that LMA book either! I think I've read most of her others. I had to put that on my Amazon wishlist.

I LOVE your raggedies! So cute!

wow! just found your blog from waldorf craft yahoo group. I'm looking for a dragon pattern to make with my 61/2 son. A special gift for a friend. Any chance of sharing yours? You are amazing and inspiring. I don't read alot of blogs or spend time on the computer (10 kids, one getting married in March)but even back read and looked, do you ever sleep? Maybe I didn't go back far enough but where do you sell your stuff? Hoping this goes through and you recive it. Karen (needlefelter2@yahoo.com)

Hi, your quilts are just beautiful, but if you ever get craving for older authors check gutenberg.org. They have a ton of L. M. Alcott. :)

"An Old Fashioned Girl" is my very favorite of LMA's books. I first read it when I was 10 years old and was given a book gift certificate for my birthday. I'd never received one before and was thrilled to be able to go into the bookstore and pick out my very own book. After much thought, that's the one I chose. I still re-read it once a year :-)

The wall quilt and your Raggedys look adorable. I just love Raggedy Ann.

Blessings,

Mary
