It's official

Not only am I as boring as can be, I'm a bad blogger to boot.

I know, I can't bring myself to post lately. Why? Because there isn't much of anything to post about.

I haven't done anything crafty in over a month it seems due to a carpal tunnel flare-up. Instead I've been cooking, cleaning, making a valiant attempt to exercise regularly, homeschooling, keeping up with laundry, and thinking about making an effort on the yard this year.

That's it in a teeny tiny boring nutshell.

WHEWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!
Boy, am I glad you're back!!! I'm so glad you were doing normal, everyday things instead of being in the hospital battling some dread disease!!
I've missed you!!! Your blog had become one of my daily stops for smiles and encouragement and inspiration!

No no! you aren't boring - your dolls are beautiful and inspiring and I really enjoy those blogs that are not daily - I'm too involved in real life to read all the blogs I like every single day!

Besides - most of us are doing all those same keeping up things as you :) it's nice to look up once in awhile and see a new post that makes me smile....thank you for your blog.

I check often to see what is happening. I can relate to the wrist. I sprained mine and cracked a bone to boot. Had to take a pic out in the dark tonight, just to have something to post! LOL I am guessing you are wearing a splint at night to localize the nerve? Take care! And you can always send us recipes and pics of the yard in progress....

Glad to see another post!! I put a handy little widget from blogger in my blog that updates when the blogs I read update......so I was glad to see an update when I logged on to my blog!

So, here's my idea for a blog post from you.....

kombucha! I keep seeing it floating by in your little set of pics, and I even went so far as to ask at my health food store for a start.....but she said she hasn't had it in YEARS when it was the in thing. I told her it was coming back. ;) LOL

So, details, the who's , the whys' , the hows, ect. ;)

I'm so happy to see an update, I don't care if it's boring! Hope the carpal tunnel gets better soon-the craft world is poorer without your bright contributions. Come see what I've been up to lately- playing with glue and glitter!

Ohh that sounds nasty, do get better soon, there is nothing more frustrated than a creative person who can't operate.

On my bad days, I post photos or recipes and other what nots, often directing your energy towards what you can do helps.

Good luck with the recovery process.

Boring-schmoring. I know what's REALLY going on in your head.

:maniacal laughter: muahahahahaha

I can't wait to hang out with you. See you next week.

maybe gwen can do a guest spot and let us know what is really going on in your head.

My own craft blog has but one post every six months. Often I dont take pictures before it is given to whomever it needs to be given to. Or yeah, doing regular mom stuff. blah

You know, I find my crafting output to be seasonal and have long periods of uncraftiness too. I'm sure you'll get your crafty groove back when your carpal tunnel calms down - ouch!

Nice to see a post from you, boring or not!

I am sorry to hear of your ailment, I am sure it must be hard being the creative person that you are. I just came over from swap-bot to see your bendy dolls. I am so amazed at the detail you place on each one. I am making my first and using you as my role model. See, even if you are feeling down you are still making a positive influence on other peoples lives. Thank you

I know what you mean..sometimes it is difficult to find what might be interesting to others...but I may have some inspiration for you...I visited an antique shop and they had a container of thimbles that was just so sweet...I pictured them on my blog...hop over for a look....aren't they wonderful?
